2Days1Night Lakes Entrance

Agenda: Lakes Entrance Crabbing Trip
Date: 26 to 27 September 2008

Mid term break again. Time flies as this is my final semester in Swinburne. Tons of assignments are summoning me: “Anita, we are waiting for you..” Well~ Don’t care about them.. Here we go~ crabbing trip to Lakes entrance where is situated between Bairnsdale and Orbost knows as the Gippsland Lakes. Lakes Entrance is the biggest fishing port in Victoria, 320kms from Melbourne, 4 hours drive along the Princes Highway. We rent a Kia Carnival which can allocate 8 people from Budget Car Rental, the car is pretty cool and nice.

We bought all the crab nets and baits which cost us quite a lot. However, due to our inexperience and have no idea where the crab ideal spot. We end out with ZERO crab. Not even had chance to see the crab. Cool, right? Anyway, we did enjoy our trip; Ninety Mile Beach is such an awesome place to have fun; soft sand and green beach..

Accommodation: The Lakes Apartment. We have a luxury stay at the lakes apartment. The house design was amazing feel like never want to go back and stay there forever. Of cause it has caused us a lot too, AUD 270 per night. Pretty cool, right? Have to sew up my pocket..
